The Goals of the Steamboat Mountain Music Society are:
To provide a quality musical experience for
an audience of residents and visitors in a family oriented
setting, thereby creating a social and economic benefit to
our valley
To provide an opportunity for local musicians
to perform before a large audience; and for better known musicians
to increase their fan base through touring
To provide through workshops and informal
relationships an environment to strengthen the Canadian musical
culture
To provide funds in the form of a bursary
and/or scholarship to Windermere Valley music students and
performers of any age to develop their musical abilities
