Antonio Larosa
Antonio Larosa is a country-rock and roots artist whose music blends the grit of blues, the soul of vintage rock, and the storytelling of classic country. With a voice that channels the spirit of Elvis Presley and the emotional weight of Chris Stapleton, Larosa creates songs that are heartfelt, lived-in, and unapologetically honest. Raised in Vancouver, BC, Larosa was drawn to the music of Johnny Cash, The Allman Brothers, BB King, and Roy Orbison from a young age. His music reflects those roots: raw, rhythmic, and filled with sincerity, but filtered through his own lens and life experiences.

After years of cutting his teeth on stages across Western Canada, he’s developed a reputation for his electric live shows, where blistering guitar work and vulnerable lyricism meet. In 2023 and 2025, Larosa was awarded Roots Artist of the Year by the BC Country Music Association, a milestone that affirmed the impact of his music and the path he’s been carving independently. His songs have been featured on SiriusXM and on editorial playlists across Spotify and Amazon Music, and he continues to build a loyal audience through his performances and recordings.

Hot Tubbin Men

Brewed in a hot mix of chlorine, ph balancing chemicals and the essence of life known as water with a dash of electricity, these hot tubbin men came out steaming like hot rocks from a sauna that just got drenched in a downpour of Yatch Rock juice. Bringing you all of your dad's favourite hits that will even get your grandparents putting their water wings & boogie shoes on. The Hot Tubbin Men smell like teen spirit with a binding spell of glycerine. Bring your water accessories and get ready to rock the boat and do something really empowering like, eating an exercise bar even though you don't exercise, They only have 1 question. Would you rather be on a 80 foot yatch with a 21 year old or be on a 21 foot yatch with an 80 year old? It doesn't really matter, you're on a boat and that's what's important.

The Combiners
In 2020, Rob Loree left Gananoque, Ontario (Ganja Town) to return to his Southern Alberta Roots. Leaving his banjo behind, and then his car in Blind River, he arrived in Calgary during the pandemic. Rob is referred to by many as “The Lost Loree”.
Michelle Baker met Rob Loree online shortly after. No, it wasn’t a dating website, it was a musical outlet called “Quarantunes”. Rob was mesmerized by Michelle’s haunting harmonies and cheeky spirit. A Saskatchewan farm girl, Michelle had been performing on the prairies with her sister and father since she was five, and she won the “Singing the Blues” contest at the Calgary Blues Fest in 2015. A friendship began, and the first seeds of “The Combiners” were planted.
Michelle approached her longtime friend Laurene Palmiere in 2022. They had been performing together in various iterations since 2014, often praised for their “sister-like harmonies”. Michelle said, “there’s someone I want you to meet”. Laurene, originally from Vancouver Island, had been working on her second album “the Gold” with producer Kit Johnson, and Michelle was eager to connect Laurene with Rob. Michelle introduced Laurene to Rob at a Mikey’s Juke Joint Jam and “The Combiners” seed began to sprout.
The Trio started jamming in Michelle’s Ironwood Hair Studio, “Riff’s”, bringing together Rob’s vintage country vibe, Michelle’s foot stomping fun, and Laurene’s love for crooning. They threw around some names, performing their first event as “the Riffter’s”, but soon found out that was taken. “The Northern Commandos” was mentioned but wasn’t quite right. “Rob and His Prairie Harem” was also suggested. Michelle had a name in her back pocket, “The Combiners” and the rest is history.
Rob’s dream band was missing something, and he knew exactly what, or rather, “who”, that was. He wanted his close friend Joni Brent to join them. He told Michelle and Laurene about his idea, and they were ecstatic! It took Rob a year to convince Joni, but Joni is the bassist for The Combiners. She is a songwriter and performer based in Calgary, Alberta and has written and performed with The Lovebullies, Bryson Waind & The Diamond Hitch String Band, Rosehip, Roadside Turnout, No Limbo Lasso, Sacred Heart of Elvis, Jane West and other performers. Her songs and/or instrumental performances have appeared on stage, television and numerous albums and singles. She has been a music creator and performer for over 30 years.

In 2023, The Combiners had their first show as a 4-piece band, and quickly became one of Calgary’s favourite bands, entertaining folks with their talent, wisdom, and humour.

The BOOM BOOMS
The Boom Booms debut album "Hot Rum" was conceived on a 6 month "on-the-fly" tour of Latin America in 2008. Their sunny blend of folk, rock, reggae, african, and latin music quickly connected with people on the west coast and soon they were selling out venues and playing festivals across their home province such as Squamish Live and Pemberton. Fan favourite "you know" blends rock and reggae and became a staple at the end of their sets, while reggae-influenced "Caroline"s longing lyrics and brilliant melodies tugs on heart strings in english AND spanish. They had a song on the Much More Music countdown, won an award for "Best Roots Song", as well as the Georgia Straight newspapers peoples choice award for "best unsigned band" 7 times. On their next record they worked with Grammy-winning producer Chin Injeti on a tight soul-pop record called "Love is Overdue" and later they co-produced a record with Sam Woywitka called "Million Miles". in 2025 the lifelong friends and staple of BC music scene return with a new album that harkens back to the orginal beachy-rootsiness of Hot Rum.
