ARTIST BIOS
Emma Miller
12-year-old Emma has always had big dreams of becoming a composer and musician, growing up with a love for music, dance, and performing. She especially loves musical theatre, singing, and playing the piano and guitar, using her creativity and passion to chase her dreams every day.
A-Muse Troupe
A-Muse Troupe is a cirque-improv collective from Golden dedicated to the positive power of play. They and their amazing puppets engage kids with costume and spectacle. They’ll be pranking and parading around the festival grounds, looking for and creating fun!
Tasey Sandboe
Tasey was born and raised in Fairview, AB. At a young age she showed interest in the music world as she participated in voice lessons and piano lessons through the Royal Conservatory. She has a background of professional training in voice. Tasey has performed at many competitions throughout Alberta such as, Peace Country Idol, and Country Vocal Spotlight, as well as performing at jamboree's and music events within the Peace Region. Tasey has enjoyed learning the guitar and performing for her friends, family and her students. She enjoys sharing her passion of modern and classic country and folk music.

Valerie Hudson
SINGER, SONGWRITER, INSTRUMENTALIST
Val hails from London, Ontario and has been involved in music from the age of seven. A former recording artist on Tommy Banks record label (as a teenager), Val has been a session singer for many radio/TV ads, films, and band recordings - including the rock band Helix. Her two career highlights: leading a Christmas carol sing-along at a mansion in Toronto with Oscar Peterson playing piano; and being a singing Muppeteer on a TV Special with Jim Henson. A singer and player of all styles of music - including country and opera - Val is an accomplished and engaging performer, who has performed at many area festivals and concert venues

Slone Leman
Slone Leman is a vocalist and songwriter from the small town of Canal Flats, BC. With inspirations spanning from 2000s pop punk to mellow indie-pop, their music brings together compelling melodies, raw and homey textures, and lots of love.
For the past five years, Slone’s been turning their passion for writing evocative lyrics and melodies into a catalogue of songs, the best of which having been polished and prettied up for their showcase. Expect an array of original, acoustic, folksy-pop songs, along with some erratic banter
